The Las Vegas Raiders are coming off a four-win 2024 season and have made some major additions during the offseason.
They hired Pete Carroll as head coach and John Spytek as general manager before adding former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith via trade.
Carroll had Smith as his quarterback while he was the head coach of the Seahawks and thinks he can be the answer at that position for the Raiders.
They also added a lot of players when free agency started on March 10, including running back Raheem Mostert, cornerback Eric Stokes, linebacker Elandon Roberts, safety Jeremy Chinn, and guard Alex Cappa.
Their spending continued on Friday with the addition of linebacker Devin White. According to FOX NFL insider Jordan Schultz, White has signed a one-year deal with the Raiders.

White spent the first five seasons of his career (2019-23) with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers until he spent part of the 2024 season with the Houston Texans. He helped the Bucs win Super Bowl LV over the Kansas City Chiefs and was teammates with Raiders minority owner Tom Brady.
White had a three-season stretch (2020-22) where he produced over 120 tackles. His best season came in 2020 when he appeared in 15 games, finishing with 140 tackles, nine sacks, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and two passes defended.
He only played in seven games last season since the Texans picked him up in October after the Philadelphia Eagles released him earlier that month. He was inactive for the Eagles' first four games and then missed their fifth game because of personal reasons. He was then released before the trade deadline and signed with the Texans.
The sixth-year linebacker finished the season with 19 total tackles (15 solo).
