Prayers Are Pouring In For The Family Of Patrick Mahomes Sunday

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are off this weekend, after playing the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day, but the family of the three-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback is asking everyone for prayers.
Mahomes and his family are going through a difficult time. Mahomes' mother, Randi, took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to ask for prayers for her father - Patrick's grandad - earlier this week. The grandfather of the future Hall of Fame NFL quarterback is not doing well.
Randy Mahomes, the grandfather of the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, has been hospitalized with an illness. He is not doing very well.
"Prayer warriors please pray for my daddy. He is in the hospital and is not well.. his name is Randy," the mother of the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback wrote on social media.
NFL fans are praying that everything will be OK for the Mahomes family.
"Lifting Randy in my prayers for healing, strength, and restoration! ✝️🙏🏽 One Love! ☝🏽💙," one fan wrote.
"Prayers for you and your family 🙏🙏❤️❤️," one fan added.
"Getting older means seeing more of your loved ones die off, and it's terrible. 😭," one fan added.
"Prayers for Randy and the Lords healing blessings upon him for many more years of life and health and happiness! All things are possible for those who believe 🙏🙏," one fan added.
This is the second time this year that Randi Mahomes has asked for prayers for her father. Earlier this year, the grandfather of the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback was hospitalized and prayers were needed.

It's been a tough year for the Mahomes family. Earlier this year, Randi Mahomes lost her mom, Debbie, who died back in February.
There is promising news as well, though. Randi Mahomes is getting ready to become a grandmother of three. Brittany Mahomes is pregnant with the couple's third child and she is reportedly due any day now.
Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, meanwhile, are coming off a blowout win over the Steelers on Christmas Day. Kansas City improved to 15-1 on the season with a 29-10 win over Mike Tomlin's squad in Pittsburgh on Wednesday.
