Texas A&M is the talk of the college baseball world this week, after their head coach, Jim Schlossnagle, left for the head coaching job at Texas.

Aggies fans have been melting down on social media - and rightfully so - while Texas fans have been taunting their former rival - and soon to be conference opponent.

One Texas fan took to social media with a cheerleader-themed taunt.

"I think we know why Coach Schloss chose #Texas 🤘🏽," he wrote.

A Texas A&M cheerleader caught wind of the message and decided to respond on social media. It was pretty well played.

"We do exist you know and D1 National Champions," she wrote.

The Texas vs. Texas A&M rivalry has been dormant for a while, thanks to the Aggies' move to the SEC, but things are about to heat up this fall.

Texas, along with Oklahoma, is set to join the Big 12. The Aggies and the Longhorns are scheduled to meet in College Station later this fall.

It should be a fun one.
