It wasn't too long ago that Emmanuel Acho was a linebacker in the Philadelphia Eagles locker room. And now the FS1 host is catching direct shots from a member of his former team.

On Friday's episode of "The Facility," Acho pounded the table that the Dallas Cowboys are one "Eagles offseason" away from winning a Super Bowl.

"They're a running back away," he claimed. "Eagles offseason: Saquon Barkley. They're a linebacker away. Eagles offseason: Zack Baun. They're one offensive lineman away. Eagles offseason: Mekhi Becton. They're a No. 2 wide receiver away. No Eagles offseason there, obviously they got Jahan Dotson, who contributed in the Super Bowl but didn't do a ton during the course of the season. They're a defensive tackle away. Jordan Davis or Jalen Carter."

"The Cowboys are one Eagles offseason away from a Super Bowl," Acho maintained. "Like that's it. ... I think they have Super Bowl caliber players, but they are a running back, a defensive tackle, healthy linebacker play, an additional offensive lineman and a No. 2 wide receiver away from a Super Bowl, but that's an Eagles offseason."

Even the most diehard of Cowboys fans would probably think that's a bit of a stretch. And a week removed from capturing said Super Bowl, Eagles 2023 first-round pick Nolan Smith Jr. made sure to call the ex-player out on his hot take.

"Bruh you got to be Top 2 [haters] and not two!!!" the LB responded on X. "It doesn't cost nothing to show love and say 'THEM BOYS DID THEIR THING!!!!!'"

Acho's FOX Sports co-hosts also pushed back a bit on his thoughts, laughing off some of his statements and pointing out that Dallas doesn't have a GM like the Eagles' Howie Roseman.

But Acho said what he feels and time will tell if that ultimately proves correct.
