Penn State Police Reach Final Decision On Jason Kelce Investigation

Penn State has reportedly concluded its investigation into Jason Kelce's phone incident.
On Nov. 2, the former Philadelphia Eagles center grabbed and smashed the phone of a fan heckling him outside Beaver Stadium. The university said they were looking into the encounter for possible offenses of criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.
According to TMZ, a Penn State spokesperson said they're closing the case. Kelce won't face any charges.
"The individual in the video footage circulating on social media has not been identified, and no one has come forward to University Police with a related complaint about damage to personal property," the spokesperson told TMZ.
The unidentified fan directed an anti-gay comment at Travis Kelce before Jason slammed his phone on the ground and repeated back the same slur. ESPN didn't discipline its new NFL analyst, who apologized on Monday Night Countdown for using the insensitive language.
"I'm not happy with anything that took place," Kelce said on ESPN. "I'm not proud of it. And in a heated moment, I chose to greet hate with hate, and I just don't think that's a productive thing. I really don't. I don't think it leads to discourse and it's the right way to go about things. In that moment, I fell down to a level that I shouldn't have."
Jason reiterated his regret for using that word on his New Heights podcast. Travis supported his brother defending his family from a "clown."
"I think you owning it and you speaking about it shows how sincere you are to a lot people in this world ... You don't choose hate," Travis said. "That's just not who you are. I love you, brother."
Jason Kelce seems to have moved on from the incident. He had a sweeter fan interaction Monday night when eating and signing a donut in honor of the network's Simpsons-themed broadcast.
