Paul Pierce Appears To Not Remember Anything From 2008 Celtics Title Celebration

In 2008, Paul Pierce helped the Boston Celtics win their first NBA title in over 20 years. Unfortunately, Pierce doesn't seem to have many memories of how he celebrated afterwards.

While carrying the Larry O'Brien Trophy during today's parade, a pool reporter asked Pierce about the experience. He said it was great to be able to celebrate with the team.

But when asked how it compares to his own team's parade, Pierce bluntly said that he doesn't recall it.

"I don't remember," Pierce said with a laugh, via WCVB.

Whether it's because he was drunk out of his mind or just so long ago that he can't remember, we may never know...

"I don't remember."

Some fans have joked that Pierce shouldn't be the one holding the trophy like he's a part of the team:

"Bro thinks he's apart of the team," one user joked.

"Wait you didn't win bro wtf lol," wrote another.

It's worth noting though that the trophy he's holding is the 2008 trophy, not the one that was awarded to the Celtics earlier this week.

But if there's one former member of the Boston Celtics with every right to celebrate the team's 2024 title as part of the team it's Paul Pierce, whose trade to the Brooklyn Nets in 2013 contributed to the team acquiring the talent that won this title.
