Paul George Reportedly Meeting 3 Teams Ahead Of Free Agency

After declining his $48.7 million player option and entering free agency, Paul George is reportedly set to test the market over the weekend.
According to ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, "George is planning to take free agent meetings with the Los Angeles Clippers, Philadelphia 76ers and Orlando Magic beginning late Sunday night and Monday on the West Coast."
The nine-time All-Star is coming off another strong campaign at 34 years of age and is still one of the better two-way wings in the game.
It's a little hard to imagine George leaving the West Coast at this point in his career but Clippers star has made it clear that he wants to win.
Team president Lawrence Frank told reporters on Thursday that the organization "loves" Paul and that they very much would like to keep him in LA.
"We hope Paul's decision is to be here," Frank said. "He's been awesome. He's been an All-Star. He's one of the best two-way players in the league. He's a terrific person. He's got great family, so we hope he's here but also respect the fact that if he chooses to opt out, that's his choice. He's earned it and we'll see how things play out."
Steve Ballmer likely isn't trying to go into a new arena without some star power to sell to the Inglewood market. We'll keep an eye on this one over the next few days.
