The LSU Tigers won the 2024 women's gymnastics national championship in Fort Worth, Texas over the weekend. It's LSU's first national championship in the sport.

"With one performance remaining, Aleah Finnegan delivered a 9.95 on beam to lift the LSU gymnastics team to the first NCAA Championship in program history Saturday afternoon at Dickies Arena," the Tigers announced.

"The Tigers claimed the title with a 198.225 to defeat California (197.850), Utah (197.800) and Florida (197.4375). With the win, LSU became just the eighth program in NCAA history to win the women's gymnastics championship."

Dunne took to social media to boast about the title on Sunday morning.

"forever LSU. #champions#ncaa#lsu#gymnastics," she wrote.

For Dunne, it's the end of her college gymnastics career. The social media star has built up a massive following during her athletic career, so it'll be interesting to see what comes next.

Dunne is set to appear in the 2024 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, among other things.

But for now, the legendary LSU Tigers star and her teammates can just enjoy their national championship.
