Olivia Culpo Shares Throwback Photos Ahead Of 2024 Miss Universe Competition

San Francisco 49ers star Christian McCaffrey made his return to the football field this week, but he's not the only member of his family that's used to competition.
McCaffrey's wife Olivia Culpo is a famous model and influencer who got her start as a competitor in high-level pageants. She won both Miss Rhode Island USA and Miss USA in 2012, and she then went on to win Miss Universe the same year.
Culpo was the eighth American woman to win the title, and at the time, the first to do so since Brook Lee in 1997.
With the 2024 competition coming up on Saturday, Culpo shared some throwback photos from her pageant career.
"Miss Universe over the last 13 years. Who is winning tonight?!," she asked fans, showing photos from her time as the winner.

Since winning the title and becoming an influencer and model, Culpo has remained connected to the pageant world. She hosted the 2022 and 2023 Miss Universe competitions.
She will once again co-host the final event on Saturday night along with actor and television personality Mario Lopez, with the 2024 competition taking place in Mexico City.
Last year's event was won by Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua, who was the first winner from the country in the competition's history. She will crown her successor at the end of Saturday night's show, as is tradition within the Miss Universe pageant.
R'Bonney Gabriel is the latest American winner, taking home the crown in 2022. Gabriel was the first American winner since Culpo, and she was also the oldest entrant to win at the age of 28.
A record of 125 different countries and territories from around the world are competing in the event, surpassing the previous record of 94 set in 2018.
Belarus, Eritrea, Guinea, Iran, Somalia and the United Arab Emirates are among the nations making their Miss Universe debuts this year, and the event will be broadcast live for spectators around the world.
We'll see which country walks away with this year's title when the honor of Miss Universe is given to one of the dozens of women competing on Saturday night.
