As head coaching jobs are occupied throughout the NFL, the coaching carousel continues to spin throughout all levels of football. The coaches accepting those jobs are leaving their previous positions in order to do so, and those positions need to be filled.

Coaches at the college level could look to find their way to the NFL, much like former Boston College head coach Jeff Hafley, who left to become the Green Bay Packers' defensive coordinator.

Chip Kelly was the head coach at UCLA around this time last year, and left that position to work under Ryan Day as Ohio State's offensive coordinator. With offensive coordinator jobs becoming available around the NFL, one reporter believes Kelly could be a potential candidate.

Broncos reporter Benjamin Allbright says he "would not be surprised" to see Kelly get some attention when it comes to the open offensive coordinator jobs around the league.

Kelly helped Ohio State win its first national championship in a decade this year, working with a massive amount of talent like Will Howard, Quinshon Judkins and Jeremiah Smith.

The Buckeyes offense came into its own during the College Football Playoff, with Kelly orchestrating a masterful gameplan in the Rose Bowl to blow out his former school in Oregon.

The Ohio State offense had the potential for an explosive play on every snap, a testament to how well Kelly's system worked with the talent on their roster.

If Kelly does return to the NFL, he'll hope that things go better than his first stint as the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles. Kelly coached the Eagles from 2013 through 2015, taking over for Andy Reid after he left to coach the Kansas City Chiefs.

Kelly won the NFC East in his first season with Philadelphia, but failed to make the playoffs in year two and was fired during his third season.

Kelly would then go on to coach the San Francisco 49ers to a 2-14 record in his only season with the team before heading back to the college level.

Chip Kelly was able to return to his old form this year at Ohio State, and we'll see if that's enough to land him another NFL job.
