College Football's 10 Most Intimidating Stadiums (1:16)

Ohio State blew out Tennessee, 42-17, at Ohio Stadium in Columbus on Saturday night.

The Buckeyes, the No. 8 seed in the College Football Playoff, were favored to beat the No. 9 seed Volunteers by about a touchdown. Ohio State raced out to a 21-0 lead over Tennessee and never looked back. Things got a bit close heading into halftime, as the Vols scored 10 unanswered points before the third quarter, but Ryan Day's team made easy work of Josh Heupel's squad in the second half. Ohio State had its second and third-string players in the game by the halfway point of the fourth quarter.

While Ohio State dominated Tennessee on the field, the Vols' fan base had an impressive showing in Columbus. The SEC program had an estimated 30,000-plus fans at Ohio Stadium on Saturday night. Kirk Herbstreit admitted that he'd never seen an away fan base take over Ohio Stadium like Tennessee did on Saturday night.

However, some Tennessee fans weren't happy with how they were treated.

One angry Tennessee fan posted on a message board that they wanted to leave Ohio Stadium early, because of how they were treated by Buckeyes fans.

"Don't know if we will last the second half unless the game is close here," the fan wrote.

"Non stop screaming in your ear all around us and tried to talk (expletive) with our 10 year old."

The trash talking to a 10-year-old might be a bit much, but as far as the screaming all around you...what did you expect at a major college football game? Do the fans not yell in the SEC?

"Keep your 10 year old at home next time. Neyland North isn't a fun place to be at night," one fan joked.

"I thought there aren't even any Buckeye fans at "Neyland North"?? Something isn't adding up," another fan joked.

"This is what happens when you poke the bear," one fan added.

"Who brings a 10 year old to 20 degree weather for 4 hours with drunk hostile fans? Bad parenting," one fan added.

Tennessee is now going home, while Ohio State is off to the Rose Bowl, where it'll face No. 1 Oregon.

Kickoff between Ohio State and Oregon is set for 5 p.m. E.T. on New Year's Day.
