NFL Star Accuses Refs Of Favoring The Chiefs, Cowboys Players

A member of the New York Giants is the latest to argue that the NFL's refs are favoring the Chiefs and Cowboys.
After drawing a 15-yard penalty for his pointed fingers celebration in Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks, Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton called the league out on social media when Cowboys All-Pro CeeDee Lamb and Kansas City's JuJu Smith-Schuster did the same without a flag being thrown.
"It's cool when they do it," Slayton claimed.
Fans reacted to the NFL's recent crackdown on X.
"15 yards for finger guns, what happened to the game I love," a user said.
"People jus gotta accept the chiefs are the nfls replacement for the patriots," a fan replied.
"The No Fun League strikes again," another commented.
"The NFL is so often ridiculously inconsistent in how it applies the rules," Big Blue View pointed out.
"Hope to GOD you don't see a fine. You better make sure you appeal that [expletive] if you do," a New Yorker laughed. "Just show em this tweet."
Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has also expressed his discontent with the league's approach to the situation.
"If you want to fine the guy after the game for doing it, whatever. That's up to the NFL for wanting to protect their league," Kelce said. "But I think it's absolutely ridiculous that a guy is on the ground shooting pointing fingers for getting a first down saying, 'We're going that way' or whatever he might be doing — I just think it's too much, man. It's too much, and it's affecting the game in the wrong way."
Five players were fined last week for the "violent" gesture. Including Lamb who was hit for $14,069.
