Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf had an eventful Thursday night against the Chicago Bears, which nearly included a fight with cornerback Tyrique Stevenson.

During the second quarter of the Bears-Seahawks game, Metcalf and Stevenson were caught shoving each other after a play. It seemed like they were about to settle down, but the Pro Bowl wideout made things worse by headbutting his opponent. The officiating crew penalized him for unnecessary roughness. However, the refs didn't think it was bad enough to warrant an ejection.

NFL fans believe the league should step in and suspend Metcalf for the final game of the regular season. While we doubt that'll happen, it's pretty evident that he's not beloved by fan bases outside of Seattle.

"That should be a a 2 game suspension," one fan said.

"What a selfish player. Should be cut immediately," another fan declared.

"DK is such a dirty player," a third fan wrote on X.

Following the Seahawks ' 6-3 win over the Bears on Thursday night, Metcalf was asked about his scuffle with Stevenson.

"I'm a grown man," Metcalf said. "My emotions are in check. Like I said, it's a physical game out there. Especially when I'm out there. I'm gonna test the DB."

Metcalf finished Thursday's game with three catches for 42 yards. Overall, he has 939 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Unless he lights up the boxscore next weekend against the Los Angeles Rams, this year will go down as his worst since 2021.

The Seahawks are 9-7 heading into the final week of the regular season. If the Rams lose their Week 17 game against the Cardinals, that would make Week 18 a win-and-in situation for Los Angeles and Seattle.
