NFL fans are calling for a head coach to be fired following his "awful" loss on Sunday.
The New England Patriots hosted the Indianapolis Colts at Gillette Stadium on Sunday. New England led for most of the contest, though the Patriots ended up falling to the Colts, 25-24, in the Week 13 NFL contest.
Patriots head coach Jerod Mayo has been getting ripped for his performance. The Patriots fell to 3-10 on the season with the loss, despite Drake Maye continuing to show flashes of greatness.
NFL fans have been calling for the Patriots first-year head coach to be fired on Sunday.
"Fire Jerod Mayo man. Fire this entire staff," one fan wrote.
"Loss like that fuels the Fire Mayo and Tank agendas," one fan added.
"If Kraft wants to bring winning back to Foxboro he has to fire Mayo and get Ben Johnson it's the only thing that makes any logical sense," one fan added.
"Fire Jerod Mayo like yesterday, we get a pick with 7 minutes left.. Run Run Run Punt. 6 minutes left, colts go down. 3 4th down conversations, TD, 2pt good PATS LOSE...," one fan added.
"I just want to see what the Mayo defenders have to say. I will not engage. This is your space to say what you got to say. If you're out there. Fire away," one fan added.
There have already been three NFL head coaches fired this year, with the Jets ousting Robert Saleh, the Saints parting ways with Dennis Allen and the Bears getting rid of Matt Eberflus.
Will Jerod Mayo be next?
