If there was any doubt left, Travis Hunter is entering the 2025 NFL Draft.

The Colorado two-way star and Heisman Trophy betting favorite confirmed to reporters Thursday that he's "definitely for sure" turning pro after the season. Hunter is expected to be a top 10 pick next spring, according to the latest round of mock drafts.

In addition to revealing his draft plans, Hunter said he intends to continue playing both sides of the ball at the NFL level. Cornerback is likely Hunter's primary fit at the next level, but he's also shown himself to be a major weapon at wide receiver.

In response to Hunter's comments today, most commenters on social media have focused on his desire to keep playing two ways.

"I mean, if [you're] team is willing to risk your health by doing this, it's a bit of a salary cap and roster hack to have a player & salary take up one spot on the 53-man roster for two different positions," one person argued.

"On paper, I think Hunter would work quite well for the Cowboys. Just have zero faith whatever coach is hired to replace McCarthy will be effective in using him both ways," said On3's Griffin McVeight.

"Yes SIR," a third person wrote.

"My dawg is gonna have to put on at least 10-15 more pounds. Aside from that he's gonna go krazy!" a fourth person said.

"I find it hard to believe but if he does then wow," a fifth commenter chimed in.

On the season, Hunter has caught 74 passes for 911 yards and nine touchdowns while logging 23 tackles, three interceptions and eight pass breakups. While he hasn't had the chance to show it off, Hunter also said he has a strong arm, capable of throwing a football 70 yards.

In addition to being the favorite to win the Heisman, Hunter also has a strong likelihood of taking home the Thorpe Award for the top defensive back in the nation.
