As the world turns at MetLife Stadium...

On Tuesday, NFL insider Ian Rapoport shared that Giants head coach Brian Daboll told reporters that Tommy DeVito has a sore forearm on his throwing arm. But he's hopeful that DeVito be able to give it a go in the team's Thanksgiving Day game vs. the Cowboys on Thursday.

According to Daboll, Drew Lock is taking the offense's first-team reps just in case. However, he's yet to rule DeVito out for the holiday matchup.

Fans were all over the news on X.

"The 30 for 30 on why the Giants org appears to hate Drew Lock will be interesting," Bob Condotta replied.

"Maybe Giants should sign a QB. Are there any free agent QBs who know the Giants system?" Danny Heifetz asked.

"DREW LOCK WILL BEAT THE COWBOYS," a user said in all-caps.

"Sore forearm is a reminder the Giants are a trash organization."

"This is such a sad tweet lmfao," a fan laughed.

"I need Drew Lock on Thanksgiving more than I need gravy on the mashed potatoes," another person commented.

"This organization is not serious."

"Maybe Drew can 'UN'Lock Malik Nabers this week," Bleacher Nation Fantasy joked.

It's hard to imagine a time when New York football was in a worse state than it is right now. But as bad as the Giants' situation is at the moment, they always seem to be outdone by their in-city rivals.

New York and Dallas will be on at 4:30 PM ET for FOX's Game of the Week with Tom Brady and Kevin Burkhardt on the call.
