Dallas Cowboys fans aren't exactly enjoying the Fourth of July this year. That's because they're stressing over an alleged photo of Dak Prescott

A social media user shared a photo of Prescott in Cabo with a walking boot on his right foot. At least that's what they're claiming.

If this is truly Prescott in the photo, he's nursing an injury that Dallas has not yet disclosed with its fan base. Obviously, that would not be ideal for the squad, especially with training camp around the corner.

Instead of waiting for a reliable source to confirm that it's Prescott in this photo, Cowboys fans have resorted to panicking on social media.

"I really will never experience happiness in my life will I," one fan wrote.

Another Cowboys fan said, "This is officially the worst offseason in Cowboys franchise history.

"If true, it's wraps. No $60m/year coming," a third fan commented.

Prescott can't really afford to suffer a long-term injury. The All-Pro quarterback is set to hit free agency next offseason.

According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, the Cowboys are committed to Prescott for the long haul.

"They are all in on re-signing Dak Prescott, eventually. They just haven't shown it yet," Fowler said. "I'm told behind the scenes they've made it clear they don't want him to hit free agency in 2025."

Although nothing has changed on this front, an injury to Prescott would complicate matters.
