NFL Fans Loving 'Hilarious' Matthew McConaughey, Christian McCaffrey Commercial

Nearly all commercials and ads these days seem to lack the smart humor that they used to (if they ever had any to begin with). But a new commercial featuring Hollywood icon Matthew McConaughey and San Francisco 49ers superstar Christian McCaffrey has some of the most grumpy TV viewers applauding it.
In a new ad for Uber Eats, McConaughey and McCaffrey are watching football when McConaughey remarks about how football is "an elaborate scheme" to make you more hungry by constantly marketing food. McCaffrey believes McConaughey is joking until McConaughey starts pointing out the food-related names of NFL terms and famous NFL players. Through it all, McCaffrey continues to believe McConaughey is crazy. The commercial ends with Jerry Rice sitting down next to them with a bowl of rice as McCaffrey looks on confused.

Fans certainly seemed to enjoy the commercial, with many in McConaughey's comments applauding how creative it was:
"The conspiracy theory I didn't know I needed," one user joked.
"That's a cute commercial. I laughed," wrote another.
"Time is a flat circle, and the NFL is trying to fatten us up," a third wrote, referencing McConaughey's iconic monologue from True Detective.
"best commercial ever," another declared.
It certainly looks like this ad campaign by Uber Eats is a W.
