There are plenty of questionable rules that NFL fans don't agree with, but after Sunday afternoon's Vikings vs. Bears game, one really stands out.

The Vikings topped the Bears, 30-27, on Sunday afternoon, winning in overtime. Minnesota improved to 9-2 on the season with the win, while Chicago dropped to 4-7. But while Kevin O'Connell's team notched another impressive victory, NFL fans were outraged to learn of what's been called the "stupidest rule" in league history.

FOX NFL officiating expert Mike Pereira explained that while most NFL stadiums have boundary cameras, they cannot be used during coach challenges. That's because they don't have them in every stadium.

"If a coach is challenged, you cannot use the boundary cam. There's not boundary cams in every stadium so there's a question of equity," he explained.

Here's a suggestion, NFL: maybe get boundary cameras for every stadium in the league? Or allow the ones that have them to use them in coach challenges?

"Right but like... WHY aren't they in every stadium," one fan wrote.

"Multi billion dollar revenue generating league can't afford a few more cameras," one fan added.

"Why try to get a call right when you have the means to do so…" one fan added.

"Life isn't fair. Use the cameras," one fan added.

The simplest solution, of course, is to just put these cameras in every stadium. Maybe there are some older NFL stadiums where it'll be tougher to pull off, but hey, this is a multi-billion dollar league that we're talking about. Whatever the cost is, the NFL can afford it.

If you have the technology to improve your officiating and challenging systems, why wouldn't you choose to use it?

This is one of those things that just doesn't make any sense. Hopefully, at some point - perhaps by the start of the 2025 season - the National Football League will figure it out.
