Kicking in the NFL in general is in a good place, but we still have seen some kickers struggle at different points this season.

Fans notoriously have little to no patience for an inaccurate kicker, which is why, pretty much every Sunday, you can find at least one fan base on social media clamoring for a kicking change. This week, it's Atlanta Falcons fans doing the honors.

Younghoe Koo has been a reliable asset throughout this time in Atlanta, making the Pro Bowl in 2020 and converting at least 86.5% of his kicks in each of his first five seasons with the Falcons.

However, this year has been a grind, with Koo dealing with a hip ailment and missing with more regularity. Coming into today, the 30-year-old specialist was just 19-of-26 on the year and had missed five of his last nine attempts.

After Koo misfired on his first field goal try this afternoon, the pitchforks came out on X/Twitter.

"Younghoe Koo gotta be cut. This MF be missing field goals every single week," said the "2 Drunk Brothers" podcast.

"I'm sick and tired of watching Younghoe koo. Beautiful opening drive thrown down the drain bc we have a NFL kicker who is 4 for his last 10. 35 yarder in the NFL is a gimme," a Falcons fan added.

"Younghoe Koo's cooked. Time to cut him," another Falcons fan added.

"Falcons gotta cut younghoe koo man," another commenter chimed in.

"Damn Younghoue Koo is broken, came off the bye still missing FGs," a fifth person said.

On a brighter note, Koo did make his first extra point attempt of the afternoon, and the Falcons currently lead the Los Angeles Chargers 7-3 in Atlanta.

At 6-5, the Falcons need a W to keep the lurking Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-6) at bay in the NFC South.
