Meet Travis Kelce's Ex-Girlfriend (1:09)

The Kansas City Chiefs are taking on the Cleveland Browns in Northern Ohio on Sunday.

Kansas City is off to a 14-0 lead over Cleveland. It's a homecoming of sorts for Travis Kelce, who grew up in the state and attended Cincinnati for college. He surely has plenty of fans in attendance at Huntington Bank Field on Sunday afternoon. But one notable fan is absent: Taylor Swift.

Kelce's girlfriend, Taylor Swift, has decided to skip out on Sunday afternoon's game. Swift, the iconic Eras Tour singer, recently celebrated her 35th birthday. Perhaps she wanted to spend all of her time at home this weekend.

Still, some NFL fans are accusing Swift of being "cowardly" for avoiding the Cleveland crowd.

One NFL fan joked: "Taylor Swift will do literally anything for love except attend a Cleveland Browns game."

Others joined in.

"Doesn't want to risk the Browns curse following her," one fan wrote.

"That's what Meatloaf meant when he said he would do anything for love but he won't do that," one fan added.

"Cleveland must be hell on 🌎 for her not to show up....," one fan added.

"She doesn't want to catch any of that Cleveland stench that never goes away," one fan added.

"Would just prove Taylor swift is a coward," one fan said of her rumored decision.

Swift, who recently celebrated birthday No. 35, hasn't attended many road games since dating Kelce. Kansas City has become a steady place for Swift and her team, as they're used to the stadium and the security.

The iconic Eras Tour star has also had some brutal experiences on the road, including in Buffalo.

"I have heard from people very close that it was not a great experience in Buffalo. It was not. For all parties involved. And I'm talking about the most famous of all the parties," Adam Lefkoe said of the Chiefs vs. Bills playoff game in January 2024. "I think that it kind of shocked the Kelce family and everyone related to the Kelce family the reception they got."

He added: "I think they were kind of going in being like, 'This is going to be an amazing game with good energy.' And they got there and they experienced Bills Mafia in full form, in its complete ruthlessness."

"And I think they left and went, 'I don't know if I want to experience that again.'"

The Chiefs are leading the Browns, 14-0, late in the first half.
