The New Orleans Saints made a couple of roster moves on Wednesday.

They cut quarterback Kellen Mond and offensive lineman Tommy Kraemer.

Mond signed with the Saints in April but his release looked to be on the way when they drafted Spencer Rattler in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft.

He's a former third-round pick and originally started his career with the Minnesota Vikings before he was waived a year later. He appeared in one game during the 2021 season completing two passes for five yards.

Before he was drafted, he played at Texas A&M for 2017-20 and compiled 9,661 yards through the air, 71 touchdowns, and only 27 interceptions.

Kraemer played in four games for the Saints during the 2023 season with no starts. He didn't appear in any games during the 2022 season but did play in nine games in 2021 with the Detroit Lions.

Both are now free to sign with any team since they're free agents.

The Saints finished the 2023 season with a 9-8 record but missed the playoffs for a third straight season.
