NCAA Tournament Refs Accused Of 'Rigging' Alabama Game

It seemed like Robert Morris was on the verge of upsetting Alabama this Friday during the first round of the NCAA Tournament. However, a few questionable calls ultimately went against them down the stretch.
With seven minutes remaining in the second half, Robert Morris took a 65-64 lead over Alabama. Unfortunately for the Colonials, it all went downhill from there. In a matter of minutes, they found themselves trailing the Crimson Tide by 11 points.
Before this Friday's game even came to an end, college basketball fans ripped the referees for favoring Alabama. They're legitimately convinced this game was rigged for the Crimson Tide.
"Alabama absolutely mauling Robert Morris but refs must have not picked them in their bracket because this is not an evenly called game," one fan said.
"Refs are actively helping Alabama stay ahead," a second fan wrote.
Another fan tweeted, "Alabama just spamming over the back fouls and refs are calling it on Robert Morris."
"This is absolutely insanity," a fourth fan commented. "Robert Morris was on the verge of being what March Madness is all about, but the refs decided Alabama can't go out just yet. I'm sick to my stomach watching this."
This won't be the last time the NCAA gets accused of rigging games this March. Between brackets and sports betting, there's a lot at stake for fans watching the game.
With that being said, it did seem like Friday's officiating crew was inconsistent with its whistle in the second half.
Do you think Alabama received preferential treatment against Robert Morris?
