The entire Los Angeles area is dealing with a devastating wildfires that have been spreading since Tuesday.

Strong winds and dry conditions have helped spread the dangerous fires, which as of last night covered nearly 3,000 acres and forced more than 30,000 residents to evacuate. Los Angeles Lakers head coach JJ Redick was among those affected by the blazes. Following the Lakers' 118-97 road loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday, Redick revealed in his press conference that both his family and his wife's sister's family have evacuated.

The first-year coach also offered his prayers and well-wishes for those impacted.

"I know that a lot of people are freaking out right now -- including my family -- and from the sound of things, with the winds coming tonight, I know a lot of people are scared," Redick said. "So, just want to acknowledge that and thoughts and prayers, for sure. I hope everybody stays safe."

Fans on social media have been returning the favor for Redick and his family.

"Prayers up for J.J Reddick and his family as they were impacted by the wild fire," said one Houston sports fan.

"Prayers for JJ Redick's family and everyone affected by the wildfires. Stay safe, Southern California," another person added.

"Damn, hope the Redick family is safe. Everyone out there that has had to evacuate stay safe. Prayers to everyone in LA," a third person said.

"Wildfires remind us how fragile life can be. Strength to all those impacted, including Coach Redick's family. Stay safe, Southern California," a fourth person added.

"It is insane what is going on there right now. Lifting everyone up," a fifth person chimed in.
