NASCAR fans seem to be fed up with FOX's coverage of the sport in 2025.

FOX is currently in Year 1 of a seven-year broadcasting contract with the sport. It runs through 2031. Obviously, FOX isn't going anywhere. But NASCAR fans are still pushing for some broadcasting changes.

On Sunday afternoon, Josh Berry won the Pennzoil 400 in Las Vegas. The final moments of his victory were marred by a clumsy call by FOX's announcers.

FOX play-by-play man Mike Joy got Berry's name wrong - he called him Josh Bell - and he also got some facts wrong about the Cup Series driver. Joy claimed that Berry's previous best career finish was a fourth place finish in Phoenix last weekend. However, Berry has had multiple third place finishes and a second place finish.

And while Joy got some facts wrong, he was also talked over by NASCAR's color commentators, Kevin Harvick and Clint Bowyer.

It was a mess.

NASCAR fans have been taking to social media to ask for something to change with FOX's broadcasting booth.

The fan base seems to be fed up with the state of things in 2025.

"Imagine the aura if Mike Joy was allowed to do his job and call the final lap properly, not a fan of color commentators interrupting the play by play guy on the final lap," one fan wrote.

"The same Mike Joy that declared Josh Bell the winner?" another fan said sarcastically.

"I'm sorry but Joy is not good now. He's a big part of the problem with Fox," one fan added.

"Yeah, Kevin and Clint didn't add anything to the call. Mike should have been allowed to work his magic," one fan added.

"As much as I love Clint,(and I do) Mike Joy could do that job in his sleep. He doesn't need to have anyone with him in the booth. I would enjoy hearing him read the phonebook (google what a phonebook is kids) !" one fan added.

Perhaps things would be better for FOX if they simplified things in the booth. It's a long day, but two-man booths work really well for football.

Should FOX make some broadcasting changes in 2025?
