NASCAR Cup Series Driver Guarantees He'll Win Championship

One NASCAR Cup Series driver isn't lacking in confidence heading into the rest of the season.

Veteran NASCAR Cup Series driver Denny Hamlin is guaranteeing a championship this season.

"This is it. This is the year it's gonna happen."

To be fair, Hamlin was pressured into saying that, though he doesn't shy away from it, either.

NASCAR fans are reacting on social media.

"If Hamlin gets a championship this year it will be because Nascar gives it to Jordan ...." one fan wrote.

"Even as a cowboys fan I'm saying this. Denny is the Dallas Cowboys of nascar. Red hot in the regular season, (expletive) the bed in the postseason," one fan added.

"I bookmaked this video, until Denny Hamlin don't Jinx it again," one fan added.

"Bro is just on repeat every year. A never ending cycle," another fan wrote.

"Denny Hamlin has said "this is HIS year", for the last 15 years of his career…." another fan wrote.

Hey, at least he's confident. Time will tell if his guarantee can come to fruition.
