The Most Underrated Sports Movies Of All Time (1:32)

Mike Tyson's return to the ring wasn't a triumphant one. "Iron Mike" was unable to defeat Jake Paul in the most highly-anticipated boxing match of the year.

Tyson showed a little spring in his step early in the fight, but he simply couldn't keep up with Paul. Even though he stayed up for all eight rounds, the reality is the fight was never close. Paul threw a whopping 278 punches while Tyson only threw 97 punches. What's wild about that difference is the YouTube star clearly took his foot off the gas in the last few rounds.

After it was announced that Paul won by unanimous decision, Tyson spoke to Ariel Helwani about his performance. He said he was proud of himself for going the distance.

Helwani then asked Tyson if he's ready to finally call it a career. His response was pretty interesting.

"I don't know," Tyson said. "It depends on the situation. I don't think [it's the last time]."

When asked who he could fight next, Tyson said, "Maybe his brother [Logan Paul]."

Instead of being flattered by that remark, Logan Paul replied, "[Expletive], I'd kill you, Mike."

If we're being brutally honest, the last thing we want to see is Tyson fight another member of the Paul family.

Credit to Paul and Tyson for spending months promoting this fight. They truly did a great job of making this feel like a spectacle. That being said, fans don't want to go through another circus like this.

One loss against Jake Paul won't derail Mike Tyson's legacy. He's still one of the most iconic athletes of his era.

At the end of the day though, Tyson has to know when to walk away. Hopefully, his camp will advise him to ride off into the sunset and hang his gloves up for good.
