Dallas Cowboys star pass rusher Micah Parsons is going to get paid at some point over the next year.

He's going into the final year of his rookie contract after the Cowboys picked up his fifth-year option for the 2025 season. He's set to make a shade over $24 million this season before the Cowboys potentially give him a lot of money on a long-term extension.

Parsons is set to be a free agent after the 2025 season but the Cowboys don't want him to test the market. They want to sign him and not risk losing him to another team.

Parsons is happy that he has his agent, David Mulugheta, and that he has his best interest since he doesn't like how other agents have handled contract talks with players.

"Some of these agents don't have the best interest for y'all man!! Wake up @DavidMulugheta, (he) has been showing it time and time again!! It's sad seeing some of these players get violated by teams because of lack of decency and effort by their agents!!" Parsons tweeted.

Parsons likes how good his agent is and knows that he is in good hands with him helping to secure a contract extension with the Cowboys.

He's one of the best pass rushers in the NFL and will look to reset the market with his next deal. Parsons appeared in 13 games during the 2024 season and finished with 43 total tackles, 12 sacks, two forced fumbles, and one pass defended.

He has been in the NFL for the last four seasons and has played in 63 games, totaling 256 tackles, 52.5 sacks, nine forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, and nine passes defended.
