Mercury Star Sophie Cunningham Turns Heads In Diana Taurasi's Jersey Pregame

Sophie Cunningham has been a key contributor on the court of the Phoenix Mercury this season, but the veteran guard might have had her biggest impact during pregame tunnel walks.
Cunningham has showed off some unforgettable looks, including wearing only a Kobe Bryant sweater before one game, some spicy dresses before others and everything in between. She knows how to turn heads.
On Thursday night, the Mercury played their regular season finale, which also happened to be the likely final regular season game for legendary guard Diana Taurasi. Taurasi is finishing up her 20th season, and has hinted at possibly hanging up her sneakers.
To honor her all-time great teammate, Cunningham showed up to the arena tonight in Taurasi's jersey, pairing it some white boots. In fact, the entire Mercury roster wore different Taurasi jerseys, further fueling speculation that she's about to retire.
"Sophie will you marry me," one person commented on the post.
"No no no they all repping DT she's gonna retire😔😔," a second person added.
"@sophie_cham always got the fire fits 🔥," said a third person.
"😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍," contributed a fourth.
While tonight might be Taurasi's final regular season matchup, she still has at least a couple of more games to play. The Mercury have clinched a playoff bid and will meet the second-seeded Minnesota Lynx in the first round.
"I don't know," Taurasi said earlier this week about her future. "The last couple of weeks have been a little nerve-racking for myself. I don't want to make any emotional, rash decisions. I know the end is near. When that is, I don't know.
"I've always been a person that just concentrates on what's next. And that's practice tomorrow and then [versus] Seattle on Thursday. I guess when the season's over, I'll reflect and I'll get advice from the people that are closest to my heart."
