Matt Rhule Has Demoted Nebraska OC Marcus Satterfield

Matt Rhule has officially demoted Nebraska Cornhuskers offensive coordinator Marcus Satterfield.
Nebraska is 5-4 on the season. The Huskers are coming off three straight losses to Indiana, Ohio State and UCLA. Nebraska's offense, led by freshman quarterback Dylan Raiola, really struggled in all three losses. Huskers fans have been blaming Satterfield and his play-calling. The former South Carolina offensive coordinator was not an inspiring hire and he's left a lot to be desired in 2024.
On Monday, Rhule officially made a change.
Rhule has demoted Satterfield on Monday, as former college football head coach Dana Holgorsen will be taking over with the play-calling.
"Matt Rhule says Dana Holgorsen will call plays for Nebraska's offense going forward this season. He will take over for Marcus Satterfield," Joseph Maier reported on Monday.
Satterfield remains with the program, coaching tight ends.
"Marcus Satterfield is still with the program. He is continuing to coach Nebraska's tight ends, Matt Rhule said," Amie Just added.
