Meet The Wife Of Phillies Star Nick Castellanos (1:09)

The Los Angeles Dodgers are set to face the San Diego Padres Tuesday in a pivotal Game 3 of their National League Division Series.

Their starting pitcher for the matchup will be righthander Walker Buehler, who struggled in 16 starts for LA this season after missing all of 2023 due to injury. A two-time All-Star, Buehler posted a 1-6 record with a 5.38 in the regular season. He will have to put all of that behind him this evening, but after what the 30-year-old hurler and his wife went through recently, starting a swing game in a playoff series will be light work.

According to reports, Buehler and his wife were the victims of one of three robberies at Santa Anita Park on Sept. 28. The Arcadia Police Department confirmed Tuesday that three separate grand theft incidents occurred around 5:30 p.m. that Saturday.

While it was not confirmed which of the three incidents involved Buehler, ABC7 Los Angeles reported that the theft occurred when "a mob of people surrounded Buehler and his wife" and one of them "allegedly unbuttoned his shirt sleeve and took the watch."

Excel Sports, Buehler's agency, confirmed their client was victimized in a statement provided on Tuesday.

"Following Walker's final regular season start on (Sept. 27), he and a number of other players did not travel to Colorado for the final regular season series. That weekend, Walker and his wife McKenzie, were attending horse races at Santa Anita Park. While walking from the [paddock] to their seats, Walker was unknowingly the victim of a snatch and grab robbery of his watch," the statement read.

"The incident was reported to police and is currently under investigation. We are grateful Walker and McKenzie were not harmed and Walker is focused on the playoffs."

The watch is reportedly valued at six figures, though an exact price has not been confirmed.

The Dodgers and Padres will face off at 9:08 p.m. ET Tuesday.
