Christmas is two days away, and Livvy Dunne is back in New Jersey getting ready to spend the holiday with family.
Dunne, who recently earned her undergraduate degree from LSU, is preparing for her final season of college gymnastics with the Tigers. LSU will begin its 2025 schedule in January, but for now, Dunne is enjoying a few days off. On Monday, she popped up at an NHL matinee in her home state.
The New Jersey Devils hosted, and routed, their rivals the New York Rangers on Monday afternoon, winning 5-0 to move to 23-11-3 on the season. Dunne had great seats at the Prudential Center, and showed up for the game rocking a customized Devils jersey with her name and the No. 24 on the back.
The official NHL Instagram account featured Dunne in a video on its page earlier today.
"Hey, it's Livvy Dunne, I'm so excited to be back at a Devils game. Go Devils!" Dunne said.
Dunne reposted the NHL video on her Instagram story, along with the caption "hockey is cool."
She also shared stories from fans who posed for pictures with her and tagged the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model in them.
Last week, after graduating from LSU, Dunne officially unveiled her plans for next year. She's going for her master's degree.
"Forever LSU💜…now time for grad school:) #foryou#lsu#graduation," Dunne wrote on TikTok.
Dunne, 22, has appeared in each of the last two Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issues, posing in Puerto Rico in 2023 and Portugal in 2024.
"Maybe it's the beautiful Portuguese backdrop with all of its history—I personally absolutely love visiting the country—or maybe it's the gorgeous cottagecore aesthetic the shoot brought, but Dunne looked positively angelic for her second feature where she was recognized as a Rookie," SI Swim's Natalie Zamora wrote earlier this month. "Among the many stunning swimsuits she donned, an underrated piece from Angelys Balek is worth looking back at. Showing off her tanned, lean yet muscular body, the gymnast proved her natural modeling abilities with this plum-colored two-piece, seen below."
Perhaps we'll see Livvy in the pages of SI again in 2025.
