Count legendary former Nike executive Sonny Vaccaro among those who think Caitlin Clark should have received more money for her deal with Nike.

Clark signed an eight-year, $28 million deal with Nike after being the No. 1 overall pick by the Indiana Fever. Vacarro thinks her representatives should have held out for much more.

In fact, he believes she could have inked a deal similar to what Michael Jordan landed before he became an NBA superstar.

"She should have gotten a piece of everything, just like Michael Jordan," Vacarro said, via TMZ. "I'm saying to you, they messed up. They should have held on to the last drop."

Vaccaro isn't the only one who suggested Clark should have received more money from Nike. Barstool Sports owner Dave Portnoy thinks she's being massively underpaid.

Taking to social media, Portnoy said of the women's basketball star:

"If people want to complain about Caitlin Clark getting screwed complain about this. 8 year 28 million deal is STEALING. 8 years 80 million min is her worth and that's still prob too cheap. I hope she has an early opt out if they don't pay up when she blows through this deal."

Should Clark have received a contract worth more than $3.5 million per year?
