Joe Gelhardt is finalising a loan move from Leeds United to Hull City. The 22-year-old striker has made just three league starts with the club since August 2022 and needs to jump-start his career. Meanwhile, midfielder Charlie Crew is also finalising a loan away from Leeds, but to Doncaster Rovers in League Two. Gelhardt is undergoing his medical today (Monday) and expects to conclude the formalities on a deal until the end of the season. It will be his second loan stint in the Championship, having linked up with Sunderland in January 2023, where he made 20 appearances and scored three goals.
