Lee Corso Doubles Down On His National Championship Pick For 2024 Season

Lee Corso isn't changing his pick for this year's national champion in college football.
Corso originally picked Texas about a month ago to win it all when College GameDay was in Austin for the Georgia-Texas matchup and he doubled down on it during the latest edition of GameDay in Athens.
"Texas is my pick to win the National Championship," Corso said.
It came as the GameDay crew were breaking down the Texas-Arkansas game since Texas went into it as a 12-point favorite.
Texas is currently in a dogfight with Arkansas and is only up 13-7 in the third quarter. Texas is on track to win but Arkansas may cover the spread in this game.
The Longhorns have been one of the best teams in the country this year and are trying to keep it going against the Hogs. They're coming off a 49-17 win over the Florida Gators and their only loss came against the Bulldogs in October.
They're 8-1 and are still a good bet to make the College Football Playoff as long as they don't stumble down the stretch.
If they win this game, they'll get to 9-1 overall heading into their final two games against the Kentucky Wildcats and the Aggies of Texas A&M. The Longhorns are in third place in the SEC right now and their spot in the SEC Championship Game could come down to that final game.
Let's see if the Longhorns can first finish off the Hogs before they can start thinking about these last two games and beyond.
You can watch the rest of this game on ABC.
