Meet The Sideline Reporters For The 2025 NCAA Tournament (1:10)

Kim Mulkey and the LSU Tigers women's basketball team are going home in the NCAA Tournament.

LSU, the No. 3 seed in the Spokane Regional, took on No. 1 seed UCLA in the Regional Final on Sunday afternoon. It didn't go very well for the Tigers. Mulkey's team fell to the top-seeded Bruins, 72-65, on Sunday afternoon.

It was an emotional day for the always red-hot Kim Mulkey. The former Baylor Bears head coach is known for her sideline dress - and her temper. She went viral earlier in the game for being two steps onto the court during a play right in front of her.

How is this allowed?

We're not sure how Mulkey didn't get T'd up there. Regardless, UCLA went on to win the game, securing a spot in the Final Four. The 2025 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament Final Four will feature South Carolina and UCLA, with two more spots still up for grabs tomorrow.

Mulkey, who led LSU to a national championship in 2023, is going viral for her postgame handshake with UCLA's best player.

ESPN.

Mulkey had nothing but good things to say about UCLA's best player, Lauren Betts. The UCLA forward had 17 points and seven rebounds in the win over the LSU Tigers.

You could hear Mulkey boasting about Betts' performance and telling her "good job."

Mulkey is known for her fiery personality on the sideline - which is something that doesn't always equate to the best sportsmanship - but she showed a lot of good sportsmanship here.

The LSU Tigers women's basketball coach was a good sport and congratulated UCLA's players on their epic season and their Final Four berth.

Mulkey, meanwhile, will look to get back to work in a big way this offseason. LSU will look to load up in the transfer portal and the recruiting world and make a run at another NCAA Tournament title in 2026.
