Kayla Nicole Shuts Down Rumor About Her Relationship With Travis Kelce

Travis Kelce's ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole, appeared on Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese's podcast this week. During her time on the show, she addressed a popular rumor regarding her past relationship.
Kelce and Nicole started dating each other in 2017. It wasn't until 2022 when they finally decided to call it quits. Shortly after they broke up, a rumor claiming that he would make her pay for "half of everything" surfaced online. That led to people calling the All-Pro tight end "cheap."
On the latest episode of "Unapologetically Angel," Reese asked Nicole if the rumor about her and Kelce splitting the bills was true.
Nicole was more than happy to shoot down that rumor.
"Do I look like I would go 50-50 on bills? So, yeah, that was ridiculous," Nicole said. "But he addressed that too though. I don't even know why that became a thing. It was never an issue during our relationship, but it was definitely a rumor."
Like Nicole said on the podcast, Kelce has already denied this rumor. When he appeared on "The Pivot" in 2023, he advised people to stop believing everything they hear.
"I would never say that I was supporting her," Kelce said. "She had a very financially stable life and what she was doing in her career. You've got to be crazy if you think I'd never helped or gave her a couple dollars to grab some food or she gave me some money… We were in a relationship for five years. A hundred dollars here and hundred dollars there wasn't even thought about, which is ridiculous."
We'd have to imagine that Kelce appreciated the way Nicole handled her interview with Reese. However, anyone who has been following her knows this is how she rolls.
Nicole, the host of the "I Am Athlete Daily" show, has been pretty respectful about her split with Kelce. As for her future, she has made it clear that she'll let things play out the way they're supposed to.
