For the most part, Kay Adams had a blast this week at the NFLPA Classic in Mexico. Unfortunately, she couldn't escape El Camaleón Golf Course without getting hit by an inadvertent drive.
This year's NFLPA Classic featured 18 teams. Countless stars were on the course, including Brock Bowers, Aidan Hutchinson, Drake Maye and Terry McLaurin. This star-studded tournament concluded on Wednesday with a playoff-style format.
During Wednesday's final round, Adams was struck by a golf ball. She opened up about this incident while on Up & Adams this Thursday.
"What do we expect? 72 of your favorite players who are yolked out of their minds and competitive and don't have any accuracy are trying to Will Zalatoris themselves to a title," Adam said. "I was scared, my head was on a swivel."

Initially, Adams thought Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton was responsible for hitting her with a golf ball.
"Courtland might be the sweetest wide receiver on God's green earth. I was like, 'I'm suing you, I'm mad at you. I can't believe you did that.' But then we found the culprit."
However, the culprit ended up being Houston Texans kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn.
"I talked to him after and gave him a lot of grief for it," Adams continued. "It's just hilarious. Of course that would happen to me."

Adams said Fairbairn gave her a glove that said, "Help me out next time." She said the veteran kicker has a lot of "rizz."
It probably won't be long before fans crack jokes about Fairbairn's flirtatious message.
As for the results from this year's NFLPA Classic, it was won by the team of Sauce Gardner, Desmond Ridder, Josh Whyle and Alec Pierce.
