Meet The Top 5 Richest Owners In The NFL (1:24)

Justin Herbert calmed the nerves of Los Angeles Chargers fans on Wednesday.

Herbert missed more than two weeks of practice during training camp and the preseason while wearing a walking boot but wants Chargers fans to know that he's completely fine.

He declared himself 100% to the media on Wednesday while also saying that he wasn't dealing with plantar fasciitis.

Herbert thought it was more of a "buildup" injury during camp and the preseason.

Even though he was a bit banged up during the preseason, it's great news that he's fully healthy now. The Chargers will need him healthy during the season if they want to get back to the playoffs this season.

Herbert appeared in 13 games last season, finishing with 3,134 passing yards, 20 touchdowns, and seven interceptions.

The Chargers finished the season with a 5-12 record before cleaning house and bringing in a new coaching staff, led by Jim Harbaugh. Harbaugh led Michigan to a national title during the 2023 college football season and returned to the NFL after the season ended.

The Chargers will open Week One of the regular season this Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Kickoff will be at 4:05 p.m. ET.
