Joy Taylor, the prominent Fox Sports host, has been named in a troubling lawsuit against the network.

The 37-year-old Fox Sports 1 host, who is the younger sister of former NFL star Jason Taylor, was named in a troubling lawsuit against the network, filed by a former hairdresser, who is making claims of harassment and sexual misconduct. Taylor was named in the lawsuit as an alleged example of the culture within Fox Sports 1.

Noushin Faraji, the former Fox Sports 1 hairstylist who worked at the network until this past August, named Taylor, Skip Bayless and network executive Charlie Dixon in the lawsuit, among other people.

The former Fox Sports 1 hairstylist alleges Fox Sports 1 had a disturbing culture, rife with sexual misconduct and harassment.

"Ms. Faraji brings forth this action because for over a decade at Fox, she was forced to endure a misogynistic, racist, and ableist workplace where executives and talent were allowed to physically and verbally abuse workers with impunity," the suit alleges. "When Ms. Faraji and others came forward to report the wrongdoing, instead of addressing their concerns, Fox retaliated against them while the perpetrators and those who protected them were inexplicably promoted. This case thus represents yet another in a long line of cases chronicling the toxic culture at Fox, marked by bad faith promises and repeated failures to address a poisonous and entrenched patriarchy."

Front Office Sports first reported news of the lawsuit.

Taylor was named in the lawsuit on multiple occasions, first for her alleged relationship with Dixon, and second for remarks she allegedly made.

Taylor is accused of having "insult[ed] Ms. Faraji on a personal and professional level," and mocking the "English" pronunciation of Faraji.

Fox Sports has released a statement on the lawsuit, saying it takes the accusations seriously.

"We take these allegations seriously and have no further comment at this time given this pending litigation," the network said in a statement.

Taylor, who hosts "Speak" with Keyshawn Johnson and Paul Pierce, joined Fox Sports 1 in a pinch-hitter type role in 2016. She later took over as a co-host of Colin Cowherd's show and "Undisputed" with Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe.

The prominent Fox Sports 1 personality has not responded to the lawsuit.
