Meet The Wife Of Dodgers Star Freddie Freeman (1:35)

Joel Embiid reportedly made headlines for the wrong reasons on Saturday night.

The Philadelphia 76ers big man reportedly shoved a reporter for a column he wrote about the All-Star big man. The columnist reportedly brought up Embiid's son, Arthur, and his brother, who passed away, as reasons for the Sixers star to get out onto the court. Embiid has struggled with injuries throughout his career and has been doing a lot of load management to start the 2024-25 season. The columnist thinks that Embiid needs to get back onto the court to prove to his family he can do it.

Embiid did not appreciate the columnist bringing up his family.

Embiid's wife, Anne de Paula, has yet to weigh in on the incident. Surely, she's being supportive of the Philadelphia 76ers big man.

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue model is a big-time public figure of her own. She's posed for the iconic Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue wearing nothing but "Body Paint" after all.

De Paula is no stranger to putting herself out there.

Anne De Paula.

De Paula rocked a tie-dye "Body Paint" bikini for the iconic Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.

It was pretty special.

Embiid, 30, has yet to play in a game this season. He averaged 34.7 points and 11 rebounds per game in 2023-24.

The Sixers are 1-4 on the year.
