Adam Schefter The New Woj? (1:11)

Well that's a title we probably never expected (or wanted) to write.

Earlier today, TMZ revealed that in a recent interview, ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter admitted to breaking an NFL story while having sex. Schefter later had to clarify that it was after, not during, but the wider NFL world still found the story hilarious.

"I can remember being in Denver one time," Schefter said on This is Football with Kevin Clark. "How do I say this. I had just spent time with this woman for the first time and got a text that Dale Carter was being suspended. I think it was for eight games for substance abuse. So, as I continued to lay there, confirm it and got the job done, Kevin. In every which way."

Among the many to take to social media and have a good laugh about the story was Schefter's counterpart at Fox, NFL insider Jay Glazer. Taking to X, Glazer joked that everyone has probably done that in their career.

"Well (expletive) @AdamSchefter who hasn't?" he wrote, adding a few laughing emojis for added effect.

Fans in Glazer's comments definitely loved his sense of humor on the subject:

"Let me know when you break a story during sex. That's more interesting," one user replied.

"I was making sweet love to my wife and we were done I whispered to her 'George Kittle is out with a hamstring injury' so I get it," wrote another.

"Now this is a podcast conversation," NFL Network's Peter Schrager joked.

But the replies are pretty split between people who found it funny and people who found it nauseating. In fairness, we probably didn't need a reason to envision Adam Schefter in his bedroom when he gets an alert on his phone that Lamar Jackson is missing practice.

"Can we please stop this trend of admitting things we really don't need to?" one user asked.

"We do not need to know this," another said.

"We should all know less about each other," a third joked.

Agreed.
