Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles are off to the NFC Championship Game, after beating the Los Angeles Rams, 28-22, at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday.

It was a tough game for Hurts. The 26-year-old starting quarterback was clearly bothered by a knee injury for most of the second half. Hurts was able to finish the game, though he was in some pain as he walked off of the field. Obviously, it would be a huge blow to the Eagles' chances if Hurts were to miss next weekend's game.

"I'm sure I'll get asked about it later. I don't know if I can answer right now," Hurts said postgame while speaking to NBC's Melissa Stark.

He added: "I finished the game."

But will Hurts be able to play against the Washington Commanders next Sunday in the NFC Championship Game? He gave his answer on Sunday night, while speaking to the media.

Hurts announced on Sunday evening that he will be good to go for the NFC Championship Game next weekend.

"Jalen Hurts (knee) says yes, he feels confident he'll play next week in NFC Championship," Yahoo! Sports senior NFL reporter Jori Epstein reported on Sunday night.

Hurts knows it could be a long week, but he'll be ready to go on Sunday afternoon.

"Tough game. A challenging game. I was able to finish the game and we'll see how the week goes," he added.

Obviously, this is huge for the Eagles. Even if Hurts is at less than 100 percent, he could pose problems for the Commanders, especially in the run game.

The Eagles and the Commanders are set to kick off at 3 p.m. E.T. next Sunday, January 26, from Lincoln Financial Field.

The game will air on FOX, with Kevin Burkhardt, Tom Brady, Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi on the call.
