Injury Diagnosis For Dodgers Star Shohei Ohtani Revealed

On Saturday night the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the New York Yankees in Game 2 of the World Series by a final score of 4-2.
Unfortunately, the win may have come at great cost. In the bottom of the seventh inning, Dodgers star slugger Shohei Ohtani attempted to steal second base.
Ohtani got caught on the steal, but that wasn't the only bad news for one of baseball's best players.
According to multiple reports, Ohtani suffered a shoulder injury during the slide. MLB insider Ken Rosenthal confirmed Ohtani suffered an injury to his shoulder, but could not reveal the severity of the injury.
Japanese baseball account Yakyu Cosmopolitan shared a conversation Ohtani had with the medical personnel. He allegedly told the Dodgers training staff that his left shoulder popped out - though this has not been confirmed.
If Ohtani suffered a separated shoulder, it would be surprising to see him play again in the series. If that's the case, the Dodgers have to hope their 2-0 lead in the series is enough without their best player - and arguably the best player in the world.
Following tonight's win, the Dodgers will travel to New York as the World Series shifts to the Big Apple for Game 3 on Monday night.
We'll have to wait and see if Ohtani is able to play.
