The waning minutes of last night's game between the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys were marred by injuries to both teams with Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons and Giants wideout Malik Nabers leaving the game early.
With just minutes remaining in the game, Nabers took a big hit and had to leave the game. He was diagnosed with a concussion but has since said he was fine. As for Parsons, he went to the medical tent at around the same time and wound up leaving MetLife Stadium on a cart. NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported on Good Morning Football today that it was a high-ankle sprain for Parsons, but one he hopes to recover from in time for the Cowboys' October 6 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
"From @GMFB: #Giants star Malik Nabers was diagnosed with a concussion last night, while #Cowboys All-Pro Micah Parson is feared to have a high-ankle sprain, but the MRI will tell the story of how serious it is. He is hopeful to not miss a game," Rapoport wrote.

Parsons had two tackles and a tackle for a loss in last night's 20-15 win over the Giants.
It's been a rough start to the season for the three-time Pro Bowl linebacker. He's struggled getting to the quarterback through the first few weeks - likely due to an increase in double-teams against him - and now he could be poised to miss his first game since his rookie season.
Let's hope Parsons is able to make a full recovery.
