Head Coach Taking Heat For Not Shaking Hands After Today's Bowl Game

Pittsburgh and Toledo played a crazy game in the GameAbove Sports Bowl on Thursday.
It was a back-and-forth affair that went into six overtimes before Toledo came out with a 48-46 win. The two teams kept trading two-point conversions before Toledo got a stop and won the game in the sixth overtime.
After the game, Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi reportedly walked straight to the locker room and didn't shake hands with Toledo head coach Jason Candle.
It's a move that has a lot of college football fans on social media upset.
"Pat Narduzzi doesn't get enough discourse for being classless. Walking straight to the locker room after losing and not at least shaking the hand of the opposing coach is why he'll always be little brother," one tweet read.
"Toledo and Pitt put on a hell of a show and then Pat Narduzzi closes it by not shaking hands. What a garbage coach," another fan tweeted.
"Pat Narduzzi can't even shake hands with opposing coach after a game? C'mon man!" another tweet read.
"lol, Pat Narduzzi is such a tool. Lose to a MAC team and don't shake hands afterwards. Pathetic," another tweet read.
Pitt started the season with seven wins in a row but went out with a whimper after finishing the year at 7-6. Pitt lost its last six games to end the season after it was an ACC title contender a little over halfway through the year.
Narduzzi will have some questions to answer during the offseason due to how the season ended.
Pitt will play its first game of the 2025 season against Central Michigan on September 8, 2025.
