'He's Back!' - Golf Legend Excited For Donald Trump's Return Monday
Today at 09:20 PM
Donald Trump is set to return to office on Monday.
The 45th - and now 47th - President of the United States will be sworn in to office on Monday, during the inauguration at the U.S. Capitol. The ceremonies were moved indoors, due to cold temperatures in Washington, D.C.
"I don't want to see people hurt, or injured, in any way. It is dangerous conditions for the tens of thousands of Law Enforcement, First Responders, Police K9s and even horses, and hundreds of thousands of supporters that will be outside for many hours on the 20th (In any event, if you decide to come, dress warmly!)," Trump announced.
"Therefore, I have ordered the Inauguration Address, in addition to prayers and other speeches, to be delivered in the United States Capitol Rotunda, as was used by Ronald Reagan in 1985, also because of very cold weather. The various Dignitaries and Guests will be brought into the Capitol. This will be a very beautiful experience for all, and especially for the large TV audience!"
A legendary golf star is excited about Trump's return on Monday afternoon.
Legendary PGA Tour star John Daly, who was hospitalized due to emergency hand surgery earlier this week, took to social media to boast about Trump's return on Sunday night.
"'LFGGGG it's time! God Bless America @RealDonaldTrump!" Daly wrote on social media on Sunday night, sharing a photo of a Donald Trump TIME Magazine cover.
"He's back!"
Daly has long been a supporter of Donald Trump, whom he refers to as "Daddy Trump." He officially endorsed Trump ahead of the 2024 presidential election against Kamala Harris.
It's been a tough year for Daly, who had to undergo hand surgery and previously lost his Florida home due to a hurricane.
"I'm just glad everyone is healthy, that's the main thing," he told the PGA Tour. "You live in Florida, you have to understand that's going to happen, but not like this. I didn't think it would be this bad. … "The memories is what you miss when you lose something like that."
Monday should be interesting, that's for sure.
