Golf Fans Are Begging John Daly To Make A Health Change

John Daly has been going through it in the health department over the years.
The 58-year-old professional golf star, who played collegiately at the University of Arkansas, admitted that he probably should have died 10-plus times in recent years. While it might be funny to admit that, it's not something anyone really wants to hear. Daly is known for his binge drinking and eating, but golf fans are hoping that he can make a healthy change.
"I didn't think I'd been out here for three decades," Daly said in a video shared by the PGA Tour Champions. "I've only been dead 11 times. I'm like Lazarus. I just keep coming back from the dead.
"That's when I could actually play the game."
A trip down memory lane.

Daly's eating and drinking habits are well known. The PGA Tour star would often go through two packs of cigarettes, multiple Snickers bars and several cans of Coke during his golf rounds.
While everyone loves a Coke and some Snickers, that is not sustainable behavior.
Daly has battled several health issues, including bladder cancer and several hand surgeries.
"It was scary," he said of his cancer battle during an appearance on the "Like a Farmer Podcast."
"I was peeing blood, pukin' blood. ... I thought my back was killing me, and I didn't know. And I went in Little Rock, got a checkup and everything on my back and then, was it a neurologist? Doctor saw it and said, 'You gotta come back.'"
Golf fans are begging him to change his ways - specifically the smoking.
"John is 58 and still Chain smoking and drinking and he's grossly overweight but still golfing and having fun , but it's starting to really drag his health down now, too bad he can't stop smoking at least.," one fan wrote.
"Only 11 ? Would have thought that number would have been much higher the way he chain smokes," one fan added.
"John Daly had so much potential but he became an alcoholic and that took over his life and ended his golf career. So sad. He had a hell of a swing," one fan added.
Ultimately, Daly has to be honest with himself and choose to make changes, or he probably won't be around to make too many more jokes.
