Former Pro Bowl Quarterback Receiving Coaching Interest From College Teams

The coaching carousel is alive and well in college football, as several teams are re-evaluating their staff after the end of the regular season.
Some teams have already looked at former NFL talent, as the Norfolk State Spartans made waves by hiring former Pro Bowl quarterback Michael Vick to run their program. Other schools like North Carolina have brought in former pro coaches like Bill Belichick, who will be on the sideline for the Tar Heels next year.
Another former Pro Bowl quarterback is getting some recognition for head coaching jobs after leading a high school team to a state title in his first year.
Former quarterback Teddy Bridgewater led his high school, Miami Northwestern, to a state championship. After the high school success, Bridgewater says he's getting calls at the college and pro levels.
"A new HBCU reached out to interview me today and a couple of NFL teams have been offering coaching jobs as well. This is a cool process no lie," the quarterback said on social media.

This is a cool process no lie.
During an appearance on "The Insiders" podcast, Bridgewater said that going back to the league was always his plan after taking the Miami Northwestern job.
"My [high school] team knows that's the plan. We wanted to win a state championship and then coach goes back to the league, see what happens, and then come back February in the offseason, continue coaching high school football. We'll see how it plays out." said the former quarterback.
Bridgewater retired last year after spending time with the Detroit Lions, New Orleans Saints, Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos and Miami Dolphins. He's likely best known for his time with the Minnesota Vikings, who selected him with their first-round pick out of Louisville back in 2014.
"We'll see how [the] next week and a half, two weeks play out, might be signing with a team or something," Bridgewater said about what the immediate future will hold for him.
"And then returning back to coach high school football in February. So, we'll see."
Bridgwater has been impressive in his year away from the game, and we'll find out if his decision to switch careers will pay off.
