Former Ohio State Quarterback Had The Most Embarrassing Moment Of 2024

The Syracuse Orange were off to a pretty good start to the season, and they entered Thursday night's game against Pitt with a 5-1 record.
The game was set up to be a battle between two top teams in the ACC, but the Panthers extended their unbeaten season to 7-0 with a dominant 41-13 victory.
Syracuse quarterback Kyle McCord had an abysmal day, throwing five interceptions in the loss. McCord's turnovers hurt his team as three of those picks were returned for touchdowns, but another moment late in the game may have done some damage to his individual perception.
On a third-and-long late in the fourth quarter, McCord stepped back out of the pocket before seemingly tripping over his own feet and falling to the ground.

The crowd inside Acrisure Stadium reacted with caution, as they initially seemed to be unsure if McCord had been injured on the play. After he quickly stood up, one announcer refused to even acknowledge the play.
"I'm just gonna leave that alone, fourth down," he said, quickly moving to the next play as the game had already been decided to that point.
The Panthers moved to 7-0 on the season with their big win, their first start of this magnitude since 1982 when Dan Marino was their quarterback. They have five games left this season, including a matchup with No. 9 Clemson on November 16.
Syracuse needs one more win to become bowl eligible, and they'll have five chances to do it. They are set to face Virginia Tech next week, and they'll close the regular season on November 30 against the top team in the ACC this season, the Miami Hurricanes.
McCord is at Syracuse following his starting role last season for the Ohio State Buckeyes. After failing to defeat Michigan, and missing out on both the Big Ten championship and College Football Playoff, he entered the transfer portal ahead of the Buckeyes' bowl game.
We'll see if the former Ohio State quarterback can bounce back from his struggles against other ACC opponents over the rest of the season.
